Very clever indeed

Created by Brazilian artists Anderson Augusto and Leonardo Delafuente, this fun painted storm drain is one of many that have now turned the streets of São Paulo into popular tourist attractions.

A very clever work of art just perfect for Mellow Yellow Monday.

That is such a neat footpath decoration ... a very cool way to brighten up the storm drains.

We need more of those !!!

I love witty public art work, too! I was just reading about some amazing things Palestinians are doing with the wall "separation barrier" that divides them from the Israelis. Saw it in June 1 issue of Time magazine, page 6.

I try to tell people that all graffiti artists aren't bad or ridiculous vandals, and thank you for providing the proof.

That's awesome! There's this artist - I don't remember his name off hand but he does these sidewalk chalk drawings - viewed from a few yards away they are 3D and incredibly real looking. I gotta look those up and show you sometime.

This reminded me of that guy.

This is so cool!

This gives me an idea: we should all "adopt" a storm drain and decorate it. Wouldn't that make cities just a little more interesting? More attractive? (can you tell I'm not too into the city these days?)

Mellow Sidewalk, Patrizia. You've hit a winner with this one, one of my favorites.

Ciao
