For Liquid

The Giver of Stars
- by Amy Lowell

Hold your soul open for my welcoming.
Let the quiet of your spirit bathe me
With its clear and rippled coolness,
That, loose-limbed and weary, I find rest,
Outstretched upon your peace, as on a bed of ivory.
Let the flickering flame of your soul play all about me,
That into my limbs may come the keenness of fire,
The life and joy of tongues of flame,
And, going out from you, tightly strung and in tune,
I may rouse the blear-eyed world,
And pour into it the beauty which you have begotten.

Well for "just getting started at this" I'd say you're off to a fine start. Nice! - sure, I'll follow this blog. And you're always welcome over at Free Spirit too!

Hellooooooo!

From one dismal average middle aged woman to another! (I have a feeling YOU are exaggerating, but I am NOT) LOL (laugh out loud)

I like your style. And thanks for visiting my blog and I look forward to reading yours!

BTW (By the way) SAHM is Stay At Home Mom. Please come by anytime, I aim for laughs, usually fail, but I have a great time trying!

:) (that's a sideways smile)

P.S. I hope I'm not being patronizing explaining all the acronyms, but there are still some out there that I figured out yet and figured since you said you were "new" to the blogosphere it might help!

This is a very moving piece for Liquid. I miss her. She was too lovely. I wish she'd decided to stay with us. Open up just a little more to let us in. But since I am old and bipolar I know the leading cause of death for us is suicide. So thank you for remembering the amazing talent she had. I have a few of her photographs. They are stunning.
